Title: Supported Living Staff

Location: Stoughton, WI

Support a group of fun & independent men and women who live in their own homes in Stoughton! Provide in-home and community-based support to individuals who experience disabilities, so they can make their own informed decisions, and live their lives independently.

While you are supporting individuals who experience disabilities and live independently, remember they are in charge! We provide information and coaching on how to do what they want, while remaining safe. All these individuals are independent and self-advocates! Working with people never gets boring and every day is different, which is half the fun!

Seeking candidates who are interested in building relationships, good communicators, and perceptive. Excellent time management skills are important, and flexibility in this role is a must! Plans may change rapidly and staff must be able to be flexible to the changing plans and shifting priorities, while also not losing sight of their responsibilities.

Responsibilities include

• Emotional support.

• Assist in processing various daily life challenges.

• Encourage healthy meal choices & cooking.

• Personal cares are minimal, but you must be willing to assist when necessary.

• Assist with grocery shopping.

• Organize and accompany to various activities (nature walks, puzzles, movies, cruising around in the car, parades, dinner with friends, etc!) *personal vehicle required.

• Socialization and fun!

• Helping others identify and strive for their goals.

• Companionship.

• Communication.

• Healthy living.

• Helping inspire everyone to lead better, happier lives.

Position Details

• Position Title: Supported Living Staff.

• Part Time staff earn $16.00/hour

• Full Time staff earn $17.00/hour.

• Earn $250 sign-on bonus.

• Located in Stoughton, WI with possible travel to surrounding areas.

• REQUIRED: Access to a vehicle in good working condition, a valid WI driver’s license, an acceptable driving record and proof of vehicle insurance, which meets CLC’s standards.

• Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities not required. We will train you!
